NOTICE OF THE CITY COUNCIL IN SUWAŁKI dated September 25, 2024

regarding the publication of the consolidated text of Resolution No. XXXVIII/498/2021 of the City Council in Suwałki dated November 24, 2021, concerning fares for bus transportation within the city of Suwałki and the Suwałki commune.

§ 1.1. Fares for city bus transportation are established within the city of Suwałki:

  1. Single-ride ticket – regular: 3.60 PLN;
  2. Single-ride ticket – reduced: 1.80 PLN;
  3. Multi-ride 60-minute ticket – regular: 5.00 PLN (valid on all lines for 60 minutes from the moment of validation on the first vehicle);
  4. Multi-ride 60-minute ticket – reduced: 2.50 PLN (valid on all lines for 60 minutes from the moment of validation on the first vehicle);
  5. Multi-ride 24-hour ticket – regular: 10.00 PLN (valid on all lines for 24 hours from the moment of validation on the first vehicle);
  6. Multi-ride 24-hour ticket – reduced: 5.00 PLN (valid on all lines for 24 hours from the moment of validation on the first vehicle);
  7. 10-ride ticket: 44.00 PLN;
  8. Personal 10-ride ticket for holders of the “Suwałki Resident Card – regular”: 35.00 PLN;
  9. Personal 10-ride ticket for holders of the “Suwałki Resident Card – large family”: 22.00 PLN;
  10. Personal 10-ride ticket for holders of the “Suwałki Resident Card – senior”: 22.00 PLN;
  11. Monthly or 30-day personal ticket – regular: 104.00 PLN;
  12. Monthly or 30-day personal ticket – reduced: 53.00 PLN;
  13. Monthly or 30-day bearer ticket – regular: 132.00 PLN;
  14. Monthly or 30-day bearer ticket – reduced: 66.00 PLN;
  15. Monthly or 30-day personal ticket for holders of the “Suwałki Resident Card – regular”: 83.00 PLN;
  16. Monthly or 30-day personal ticket for holders of the “Suwałki Resident Card – large family”: 52.00 PLN;
  17. Monthly or 30-day personal ticket for holders of the “Suwałki Resident Card – senior”: 52.00 PLN;

§ 2. Tickets listed in §1 entitle passengers to travel on all lines within the city.

§ 2.1. Fares for bus transportation are established in Suwałki and on suburban routes

1) Zone A. covering trips to the villages of Krzywe, Mała Huta, Zielone Kamedulskie, Biała Woda, Poddubówek, Okuniowiec (towards Lipniak – to Okuniowiec 04P stop; towards Suwałki – from Okuniowiec 04L stop):

  1. Single-ride ticket – regular: 5.40 PLN;
  2. Single-ride ticket – reduced: 2.70 PLN;
  3. Monthly or 30-day ticket – regular: 133.00 PLN;
  4. Monthly or 30-day ticket – reduced: 77.00 PLN;

2) Zone B. covering trips to the villages of Zielone Królewskie, Okuniowiec (towards Lipniak – from Okuniowiec 05P stop; towards Suwałki – to Okuniowiec 05L stop), Nowa Wieś, Wychodne, Trzciane, Przebród, Sobolewo, Płociczno Osiedle, Płociczno Tartak, Lipniak:

  1. Single-ride ticket – regular: 8.00 PLN;
  2. Single-ride ticket – reduced: 4.00 PLN;
  3. Monthly or 30-day ticket – regular (excluding Lipniak): 133.00 PLN;
  4. Monthly or 30-day ticket – reduced (excluding Lipniak): 81.00 PLN;
  5. Monthly or 30-day ticket – regular to Lipniak: 198.00 PLN;
  6. Monthly or 30-day ticket – reduced to Lipniak: 99.00 PLN;
  7. Monthly and 30-day tickets entitle passengers to travel on all lines within Suwałki city and Suwałki commune.

§ 3.1. Single-ride tickets may be issued in paper or electronic form.

§ 3.2. Periodic tickets are issued only in electronic form.

§ 4. Bus drivers sell packs consisting of four reduced single-ride tickets.

§ 5. The fee for traveling without a valid ticket is fifty times the price of a regular single-ride ticket.
The administrative fee collected in case of waiver of the fare mentioned in item 1 is 10% of the fare set in item 1.

§ 6. The fee for transporting luggage exceeding 40x60x20 cm, or a dog, is 50% of the regular single-ride ticket price.

  1. The fee for transporting luggage does not apply to a stroller carried with a child or a wheelchair.
  2. The fee for transporting luggage or a dog without a valid ticket is fifty times the price of a reduced single-ride ticket.

§ 7.1. Free travel on city buses is granted to:

  1. Honorary Citizens of Suwałki;
  2. Members of Parliament, Senators, and Members of the European Parliament;
  3. Children under 4 years of age;
  4. Disabled children attending kindergartens, together with their caregivers as specified in the relevant decision;
  5. Children, youth, and students holding the “Suwałki Resident Card” (regardless of the type of card);
  6. Disabled schoolchildren and youth, together with their caregivers as specified in the relevant decision;
  7. Persons over 70 years of age;
  8. War and military invalids;
  9. Persons with severe disabilities and their guides or caregivers, as defined in the Act of August 27, 1997, on vocational and social rehabilitation and employment of disabled persons;
  10. Persons with moderate disabilities holding a “Suwałki Resident Card – disabled person”;
  11. Persons with moderate visual impairment (symbol 04-O) holding a “Suwałki Resident Card – disabled person” and their caregivers;
  12. Blind persons and their guides (including guide dogs) or caregivers;
  13. Honorary blood donors holding the “Meritorious Honorary Blood Donor” badge;
  14. Employees of the Municipal Transport Company PGK in Suwałki Sp. z o.o., within the scope defined in the collective labor agreement;
  15. Car owners or co-owners on the European Car-Free Day in Suwałki (with valid vehicle registration and ID);
  16. Children and youth up to 18 years old on Children’s Day (with proof of age);
  17. Organizers and participants of the Suwałki Blues Festival, during the festival (with festival ID, concert ticket, or festival t-shirt);
  18. Passengers on November 1 on special lines to cemeteries at Reja and Bakałarzewska streets;
  19. All passengers on September 22, on the occasion of the end of the European Sustainable Transport Week;
  20. Uniformed Territorial Defense soldiers;
  21. Veterans of operations abroad under the Act of August 19, 2011;
  22. Holders of POLREGIO train tickets, one hour before departure or one hour after arrival;
  23. Holders of PKP Intercity S.A. train tickets, one hour before departure or one hour after arrival.

§ 7.2. Persons entitled to free travel must present a document confirming their exemption when requested by ticket inspectors.

§ 8.1. Reduced fare on city buses is granted to:

  1. Children aged 4 to 7;
  2. Pupils and students;
  3. School-aged children and youth exempt from school due to illness or disability;
  4. Veterans;
  5. Pensioners and retirees;
  6. Holders of “Suwałki Resident Card – senior” (based on personal periodic tickets);
  7. Persons recognized as anti-communist opposition activists or politically repressed persons (based on relevant ID);
  8. Holders of “Suwałki Resident Card – large family” (based on personal periodic tickets).

§ 8.2. Adults holding a “Suwałki Resident Card – regular” are entitled to a reduced fare of 20% of the regular ticket price, based on personal periodic tickets.

§ 8.3. Persons using reduced fares must present a document confirming entitlement during ticket inspection.
